Drawing practice
My drawing practice functions as an immediate and intimate extension of my painting. Where the paintings unfold as immersive fields, drawing allows me to register fantastical observations of both nature and the city in their rawest form. It is a space where dualities of the organic and constructed can coexist without resolution. Drawing becomes a way to think through movement, time, and change. It captures fleeting moments where form is unstable and meaning remains open.
The drawings on the left come from a 50-drawing series that captures my lived experience, shaped by the contrast between city life and life in the forest.
